Borger Matez's Bruce P. Matez was elected vice president of the board of directors for Starting Point and secretary of the South Jersey Collaborative Divorce Professionals.
Matez served as secretary of the board of directors of Starting Point for nearly 10 years, and was elected to the new role by the board on Feb. 8.
He is a founding member of the South Jersey Collaborative Divorce Professionals.
Matez has over 28 years of experience handling all types of family law matters including but not limited to divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution of marital property, equitable allocation of marital debt, child abuse and neglect matters, adoption, domestic violence and more.
He has experience in preparing and negotiating premarital and cohabitation agreements and marital settlement agreements.

The Conference of County Bar Leaders of the Pennsylvania Bar Association honored Wendy Leeper, executive director of the Chester County Bar Association, with its 21st annual Arthur J. Birdsall Award.
The award is presented to a county bar executive who is committed to the success of his or her bar association and who enhances the stature of his or her bar association.
In her 16 years as executive director, Leeper has grown the Chester County Bar Association to more than 1,000 members.
She has also taken the initiative to identify new programs and projects for community outreach, including those that encourage new members and greater participation by established members.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young counsel Jana M. Landon served as a panelist at the American Bar Association's 26th annual Insurance Coverage Litigation Midyear Conference in Phoenix.
Landon's panel, “The Three R's of Cyber Readiness: Resilience, Risk and Response,” discussed the current state of cyber risk and emerging exposures, and provided strategies to become cyber resilient, both in practice and in counseling clients of all sizes and industry verticals.
The panel highlighted proven risk transfer strategies in light of the current state of the cyber insurance market, as well as a review of emerging cyber insurance coverage jurisprudence.
Landon discussed various tools to implement an effective cyber incident response plan and law firm security data protection standards.
Landon is co-chair of the cyber insurance and data breach teams at Stradley Ronon. •
