Earp Cohn added Stephen S. Pappaterra as counsel with the firm.
Pappaterra concentrates his practice in estate and financial planning, planning for special needs, as well as elder law and estate administration.
A former trusts and estates attorney at one of New Jersey's largest law firms, Pappaterra also served as an adjunct professor of business law for six years.
He spent 14 years as managing director of wealth planning for PNC Wealth Management, with national responsibility for the strategic direction and delivery of estate and financial planning advice for high net worth clients.
Pappaterra is also co-founder and president of Syncopate Advisors, a speech and communications consulting firm, as well as a member of the coaching team for the Oechsli Institute based in North Carolina.

Barley Snyder hired Lori McElroy as an attorney in its tax and business practice groups.
McElroy, an of counsel at the firm, is the latest addition to Barley Snyder's newest office in Harrisburg.
She has experience in working with qualified retirement plans and the governmental regulations that follow them.
She also has experience in helping companies establish the complex employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) that have become popular as a profit-sharing employee perk.

Adam S. Tolin joined Goodell, DeVries, Leech & Dann in its Philadelphia office as a partner in the complex commercial litigation and products liability practice areas.
He has trial experience representing General Electric, Philip Morris, ESPN, Astrazeneca, Sirius XM and Wyeth.
In addition to his courtroom experience, Tolin has represented numerous pharmaceutical companies defending mass tort litigation.
Tolin is a 2003 graduate of New York University School of Law, and he was an associate at Dechert and, most recently, was counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

“Engaging Survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation in the Search for Justice” is set to be presented by the Villanova Law Institute on April 5 and April 6.
Villanova Law is set to lead cross-disciplinary workshops and discussions aimed at engaging the survivor community in the search for justice.
Workshops will be led by survivors and will encourage participants to engage in problem-solving scenarios on a variety of relevant topics and current issues in legislation, law enforcement and education.

Neil T. O'Donnell from O'Donnell Law Offices was a faculty member at the American Association for Justice deposition college.
The deposition college was a three-day seminar geared at preparing other attorneys on deposition strategies and skills.
O'Donnell is a Pennsylvania board-certified specialist in civil trial advocacy who has been practicing law for over 30 years.
He was accredited by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

Edmund Polubinski and Marie Killmond of Davis Polk & Wardwell have entered appearances for data platform software development company MongoDB and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
