A federal judge has denied a motion asking him to reconsider a former UPMC Children's Hospital employee's request to compel written discovery responses in her employment discrimination case against the hospital.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert Mitchell of the Western District of Pennsylvania entered his order against plaintiff Ashley Barrasso on Tuesday.
Barrasso sued the hospital over claims she was treated unfairly because of absences she took for cancer treatment.
