Lehigh County has appealed a decision appointing several attorneys to lead a statewide litigation over the alleged dangers of opioids.

Earlier this month, the Delaware Court of Common Pleas judge overseeing the consolidated Pennsylvania-specific opioid litigation appointed attorneys from Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC, Berger & Montague, and Pogust Braslow & Millrood as co-lead counsel, and named a Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky lawyer as the sole plaintiffs liaison counsel.
