I am a judicial officer and there have been several complaints made against me in my performance as a judge. Can judicial discipline affect my pension or can I resign and stop any proceedings?

Judicial discipline can have a direct impact on a judge’s salary and judicial pension depending on what violations are found and the extent of the judicial sanction. Therefore, if there are serious allegations of judicial misconduct, one aspect of representing a judicial officer is trying to resolve the matter with violations that will not trigger a loss of pension.
