Recently removed from Philadelphia Family Court following backlash over her history of violating parents’ rights and amid an active ethics investigation, Judge Lyris F. Younge is currently learning how to handle cases in the Court of Common Pleas Civil Division, according to her attorney.

But observers said it’s likely court administrators are simply trying to make sure Younge maintains a low profile as the ethics probe plays out.
