The Chartwell Law Offices added workers' compensation attorney Thomas Wehner to the firm's Moorestown, New Jersey, office.
Wehner counsels insurance carriers, self-insureds and third-party administrators on workers' compensation, subrogation, construction litigation and products liability issues.
He has handled more than 700 workers' compensation claims and hundreds of construction accident litigation matters, resulting in recoveries for his clients.
Prior to joining Chartwell, Wehner was an attorney at LeClairRyan in its Philadelphia office.

Barley Snyder partner Katherine Betz Kravitz transitioned into a new role as chair of the firm's health law industry group.
Kravitz succeeds partner Chris Churchill, who stepped down from the post to concentrate on Barley Snyder's new senior living industry group.
Churchill is chair of that group, which formed earlier this year.
The health law industry group works with clients such as hospitals, medical groups, health plans, physicians, medical malpractice insurers, pharmacies, nursing homes, diagnostic imaging centers and other clients within the medical field to serve their increasingly complex legal needs.
Kravitz guides providers through both every day problems and more serious issues, always with an eye toward future prevention.
She assists clients through all phases of policymaking, including preparation, review and implementation in virtually all areas of health care practice.

Fox Rothschild partner Matthew D. Lee authored an updated version of the “Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act Answer Book,” published by Practising Law Institute.
Lee's book provides an analysis of the international tax compliance regime imposed by the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and its impact on foreign financial institutions, withholding agents and U.S. citizens and residents with offshore bank accounts and investments.
In the updated book, Lee describes the latest developments regarding FATCA implementation, including updates concerning the reporting obligations imposed upon foreign financial institutions, the responsible officer compliance certifications required to be filed this year and enforcement efforts by the IRS and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Lee is a former U.S. Department of Justice trial attorney who concentrates his practice on all aspects of white-collar criminal defense, federal tax controversies, financial institution regulatory compliance and complex civil litigation.

The obituary titled, “Business Lawyer, Flaster Greenberg Of Counsel Marc Garber Dies at Age 67,” published Aug. 30 in The Legal, should have said Marc Garber was 62 years old when he died.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
