On Tuesday, Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin welcomed its sixth “class” of students from Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School.
The school is one of 32 in the Cristo Rey Network across the country, providing a college preparatory education for students who cannot otherwise afford a private education.
One hundred percent of Cristo Rey graduates are accepted into college. Beginning in September and extending throughout the 2018-19 school year, four students will job-share a position at Marshall Dennehey, each working one day per week, Monday through Thursday, plus one additional Friday per month.
In return, the firm pays a portion of each student's high school tuition.

Sarah Hart Charette, an attorney with Gross McGinley, was named co-chair of the executive leadership team for the 2019 March for Babies event benefiting the March of Dimes Foundation of Northeast PA. Charette and her co-chair, Kate Zayaitz of Lafayette Ambassador Bank, will champion the goal of raising funds to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Charette is a member of Gross McGinley's medical malpractice defense and criminal defense teams with a background in trial preparation and litigation.

Serving as of counsel to the firm, Brown focuses her practice on the representation of labor unions and individual employees before state and federal courts and in arbitrations, negotiations and administrative proceedings.
Prior to joining Willig, Williams, she was a senior trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.
Caggiano practices labor and employment law, advocating for union and worker rights.
Before joining the firm, she spent years advocating on behalf of union workers and teachers as counsel for the New York State Public Employees Federation, AFL-CIO (PEF) and the Pennsylvania State Education Association.

David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
