Christopher D. Scott joined the partnership of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg in the tax department.
Scott's practice centers on tax planning, general corporate matters, joint venture formations, estate planning and other business planning and dispute resolution.
He has represented corporate and individual clients, including financial institutions, in diverse commercial transactions, and represents clients in complex real estate financing transactions.

Swartz Campbell managing partner Andrew Reilly was named a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Prior to his appointment on the Disciplinary Board, Reilly served as a member of the Disciplinary Board hearing committee, adjudicating attorney discipline matters.
His practice focuses on civil litigation, municipal law and government relations.
Prior to joining Swartz Campbell, Reilly served as a law clerk to the former Pennsylvania Superior Court President Judge Stephen J. McEwen Jr.

Terry Mutchler of Mutchler Lyons was selected to receive the National Freedom of Information Coalition's 50-State Hall of Fame Award.
Mutchler is a trial attorney and former award-winning journalist for The Associated Press appointed by Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell to create Pennsylvania's Office of Open Records, enforcing the state's Right to Know Law.
She created the nation's first transparency law practice serving multinational corporations, pharmaceuticals, energy and media companies.

He will be representing businesses in the areas of products liability, construction defect, toxic tort and premises liability.
Mogill is a 2017 graduate of American University Washington College of Law.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
