Joyce L. Collier joined Greenblatt, Pierce, Funt and Flores as a partner.

Prior to joining the firm, she operated her own practice, Collier Law.

Collier concentrates her practice on employment law, civil rights and ­complex litigation. Collier has 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, focusing on fighting for low-wage workers who have been denied the most basic workplace protections.

She has served as co-counsel with Gloria Allred and Nathan Goldberg in successfully representing a group of New Jersey female cocktail servers who were harassed and fired from a casino in favor of much younger women.

Also with Allred, Collier represented some of the women who were sexually harassed by Bill Cosby.

She has also worked for over 20 years for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled as a board member, executive director and volunteer.

Elected and Appointed

Partner Jonathan Krause of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg was elected to the board of trustees at Congregation Rodeph Shalom.

Krause has worked in labor ­employment and litigation at Klehr Harrison for three years, and has been a member of the ­congregation at Rodeph Shalom for 12 years.

Krause also provides pro bono services in the areas of electoral reform, voter protection, veterans benefits and asylum status.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Stephanie E. Sanderson-Braem was appointed to the professional advisers committee of the Community Foundation of Southern New Jersey.

The foundation helps South Jersey residents harness the power of philanthropy to transform their community and the issues they care about most by helping donors create funds to achieve positive results in South Jersey.

Sanderson-Braem represents individuals, families with young children, families preparing for retirement, families having a child with special needs, closely held business owners, doctors, CEOs, same-sex couples and fiduciaries managing all aspects of trust and estate administration.

She advises her clients on premarital agreements, business succession planning, lifetime giving and charitable ­giving in addition to the preparation and implementation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance directives.

Speakers

Lee A. Schwartz, a partner in the firm SchwartzJordan Law Group, was a presenter before pro bono attorneys with Philadelphia VIP, speaking on custody law in Philadelphia courts.

Schwartz, a prior chair of the family law section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, has been practicing family law in Southeastern Pennsylvania courts for 37 years.
