Flaster Greenberg announced that Lauren N. Schwimmer joined the firm as an associate.

She joins in the business and corporate and aviation law departments.

Schwimmer works in Flaster Greenberg's Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, offices and represents corporations, airports, individuals and financial institutions in a wide variety of matters.

Her focus will be in corporate, transactional and M&A matters, but she has additional experience in the areas of aviation law, banking law and bankruptcy.

Schwimmer is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. district courts for the Eastern and Middle districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.

Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky announced the hiring of three new associates in its Pittsburgh office.

Amanda Cook is a 2006 graduate of the Levin College of Law, University of Florida.

Cook's primary areas of focus will be in e-discovery and litigation.

Alexis Wheeler is a 2018 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Wheeler's primary areas of focus will be public/nonprofit and litigation.

Mark Mazza is a 2018 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law.

Mazza's primary areas of focus will be in the areas of corporate law, trademark law, business services, public and nonprofit, and business services groups.

Elected and Appointed

Archer partner John C. Connell was honored by the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse as the Camden County Volunteer of the Year for his service and commitment to the Haddonfield Municipal Alliance Program.

Connell spent 11 years as the dedicated chairperson of the Haddonfield Municipal Alliance. He was honored at the council's meeting on Sept. 25 at Robert Wood Johnson Conference Center in Hamilton, New Jersey.

The Haddonfield Municipal Alliance is among Camden County, New Jersey's volunteer network of 33 municipal alliances, helping to communicate and execute the systems necessary to effect change in their community.

Connell practices civil litigation as first-chair trial attorney in jury and bench trials and appeals in state and federal courts.

His clients range from Fortune 100 companies to individuals in an array of complex commercial, employment, civil rights, communications law, health care and intellectual property matters.
