Intellectual property firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel named Stephen E. Murray partner.

Primarily focusing his practice on patents and intellectual property strategy, Murray has experience with the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and handles post-grant proceedings on behalf of both petitioners and patent owners in front of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

He also has experience in patent litigation and the preparation and conducting of trials and hearings.

Murray focuses his practice on securing and administering patents for clients in many technology industries, including mechanical and electrical devices, optics, the semiconductor or solid-state field and in video gaming.

Murray assists clients in inter partes reviews and re-examinations in these industries and conducts oral argument before the PTAB in a number of those cases.

Murray is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and District Courts for Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

He also is on the board of the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, where he co-chairs the technology committee, and he is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Patrick R. Kingsley was appointed to the Conflict Prevention and Resolution panel of distinguished neutrals.

CPR's panels are a source of neutrals for the resolution of business disputes. Kingsley joined as a construction arbitrator.

Kingsley is chair of Stradley Ronon's alternate dispute resolution and construction practice groups.

He handles a wide variety of complex commercial disputes, focusing much of his practice on construction and surety litigation.

He is a commercial and construction arbitrator and mediator and regularly serves as a neutral in construction disputes.

The board of directors of the Lavin Firm announced that, effective Jan. 1, the firm changed its name to Lavin, Cedrone, Graver, Boyd & DiSipio. The firm, under the guidance of its recently elected board will continue to serve its clients through its offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
