Blank Rome announced that Andrew M. Logan joined the firm's tax, benefits and private client group as an associate in the Philadelphia office.
Logan comes to Blank Rome from Wisler Pearlstine. He concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and tax law, representing high-net-worth individuals and their families on the preservation and intergenerational transfer of wealth as well as closely held businesses on tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions and general corporate matters.
Logan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the U.S. Tax Court. He received his J.D. from Elon University School of Law.

Dilworth Paxson announced that partner Edward “Ted” F. Behm Jr. was promoted within the partnership ranks of the firm, while attorneys Stephanie Searles Vogel, Benjamin W. Spang, and Ira N. Glauber were elevated to partners.
Behm is chair of Dilworth Paxson's patent practice group and has experience in all aspects of intellectual property practice, including the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patents, trademarks and copyrights; the litigation of patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, copyright, domain name and contractual matters; and the counseling of clients in intellectual property opinion, transactional and capitalization and acquisition matters.
In addition, he has experience in representing clients in re-examination, reissue and inter partes review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Behm also counsels both established and startup companies in all phases of intellectual property-related transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, IP valuations and fundraising strategies.
Vogel is an attorney in the firm's tax, employee benefits and trusts and estates practice groups.
She represents individuals, small and large businesses and tax-exempt entities in a broad range of tax areas, including tax planning, trusts and estates, employee benefits issues and charity and foundation governance issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Vogel served as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked in the mergers and acquisitions tax group with large, multinational, corporate clients.
Her legal pro bono experience includes working on various tax law cases for low-income clients and also preparing Pennsylvania and federal tax returns.
Vogel worked on cases with Philadelphia VIP, Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Pennsylvania SeniorLAW Helpline.
Spang is a practices in both state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and focuses his practice in the areas of commercial, construction and financial services litigation.
Spang handles a wide range of construction matters spanning the spectrum of public, commercial and residential.
He has experience litigating claims in connection with the design, development and construction of various projects throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including construction defect cases, design errors, delay claims, construction and mechanics lien enforcement and defense as well as insurance coverage litigation.
Glauber is a commercial trial attorney with more than 35 years of litigation experience trying civil cases involving business disputes.
He litigates a wide variety of commercial disputes ranging from matters involving breach of contract, fraud, real estate, partnership and joint venture agreements, unpaid loans, securities and employee matters in both state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey.
Glauber also represented the nation's largest securities firms in actions to enforce judgments and in numerous arbitrations under the auspices of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the New York Stock Exchange.

Elaine Yandrisevits, an associate in Antheil Maslow & MacMinn's estates and trusts practice group, is scheduled participate as faculty March 28 at a Pennsylvania Bar Institute continuing education program in Philadelphia.
This basic-to-intermediate level program is set to teach the essential procedures for closing a Pennsylvania estate, including the advantages and disadvantages of the methods used to close an estate, steps involved in a formal court accounting and audit, family settlement agreements and receipts and releases.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
