Lee A. Schwartz, managing partner of Schwartz Law Firm, was appointed co-chair of the divorce and support committee of the family law section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Schwartz is a former chair of the family law section and former president of the Nicholas Cipriani Family Law American Inn of Court.
Schwartz recently was the moderator and course planner of a CLE program through the Nicholas Cipriani Family Law American Inn of Court. The program concerned serving as a guardian ad litem and attorney representing a child in family court.

Attorney Amy R. Stern, a partner at the Lansdale law firm of Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg & Gifford, is slated to present a seminar titled “So You Think You Want to Retire” along with Matt Fatz, financial adviser, and Susan Sloan, Medicare specialist.
The seminar will address what is needed to prepare for retirement, including estate, financial and Medicare planning. It is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 27 in the H3 business services facility of Henning's Market Plaza. 2.

Stern joined Rubin Glickman in 1995. Her practice is dedicated to family law, mediation, estate planning and administration.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery bar associations, where she is a member of the family law section.
Stern is certified in family law mediation. She is also co-president of the Women's Center of Montgomery County, where she was a board member for the past six years.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young attorney Kristen Gibbons Feden presented at the Pennsylvania Bar Association's minority bar committee meeting.
Feden discussed her prosecution as the assistant district attorney for Montgomery County of Bill Cosby and the intersectionality of the experience.
Feden is a litigator and concentrates her practice on institutional responses to sexual and gender-based harassment and abuse, ethical concerns, discrimination and other misconduct.
She represents clients in general and complex litigation matters, including sexual harassment, employment discrimination and Title IX and corporate regulatory compliance, as well as clients in the financial services industry.

Martin Law announced the opening of its newest satellite office in Camp Hill.
This is the sixth satellite office for the firm and the first with a full-time attorney to work out of it, outside of the Philadelphia location.
The new office is located at 205 House Ave, Suite 103, Camp Hill, 17011, and will be permanently staffed by workers' compensation associate Steve Ryan.
Ryan joined Martin Law in November as an associate in the workers' compensation department.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked for a regional firm in the Susquehanna Valley that helped claimants secure workers' compensation benefits.
Before practicing claimant's workers' compensation, he worked at a defense firm.
Ryan is a certified specialist in Pennsylvania workers' compensation law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, making him the firm's eighth certified attorney.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

Edmund Polubinski and Marie Killmond of Davis Polk & Wardwell have entered appearances for data platform software development company MongoDB and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The case is 1:24-cv-07594, Roy v. Ittycheria et al.

David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
