Randall P. Hsia joined Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis as a partner in the litigation services department, resident in the firm's Philadelphia office.
His practice focuses on criminal defense and internal investigations.
Hsia previously conducted investigations and prosecutions in the public sector for over 12 years with the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and with the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.
He won awards for his work from the Department of Justice and the FBI and has experience handling a wide variety of complex matters, including money laundering, mail and wire fraud, tax crimes, frauds involving pharmaceuticals, debt collection and mortgage schemes, corruption and sexual assault cases.
Prior to law school, Hsia served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an artillery officer, where he reached the rank of captain and deployed to Asia and the Middle East.
He also trained active duty and reserve Marines and sailors in close combat as a Marine Corps martial arts instructor.
A graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law, Hsia is involved in the community as an active member of Action Tank and the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, both veterans service organizations, and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Marutani Fellowship Program, which provides paid fellowships for Asian Pacific American law students to pursue summer internships in the public sector.

Ben Boyles was hired as an associate at GMR's Philadelphia office.
He focuses his work primarily on the defense of clients in general liability, automotive negligence, uninsured/underinsured motorist and premises liability cases.
Boyles graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
While in law school, he served as a research assistant to John V. Orth. In that role, Boyles provided research support to Orth, helping him prepare publications on topics in the areas of property law, state constitutional law and legal history.
Between his second and third years of law school, Boyles worked as a summer associate at a litigation-focused firm located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and assisted the attorneys in that office on personal injury, labor and employment and criminal law matters.
He also spent the summer between his first and second years of law school interning with the Wake County Public Defender's Office in Raleigh, North Carolina,

Driscoll from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr have stepped in to represent Symbotic Inc., an A.I.-enabled technology platform that focuses on increasing supply chain efficiency, and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
