Anisha S. Abraham joined the Philadelphia office of Rawle & Henderson as of counsel to the firm.

Abraham concentrates her law practice in the areas of environmental, mass and toxic torts. She has over 10 years of experience handling asbestos matters.

She served as assistant to national coordinating counsel and oversaw the management of hundreds of cases from inception to trial across the U.S. as well as serving as local counsel in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Abraham served as second chair at jury trials and participated in jury selection and arbitration. In addition, Abraham practices in the areas of general liability defense, construction litigation, premises liability, products liability, employment law and workers' compensation.

Abraham earned her J.D. from the Widener University Delaware Law School.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Prior to joining Rawle & Henderson, Abraham was an attorney in the Philadelphia office of a midsize litigation defense law firm.

Elected and Appointed

Lamb McErlane paralegals Patricia (Pat) Klim and Amy McCall were elected officers of the Chester County Paralegal Association.

Klim was elected vice president and McCall was elected secretary.

Klim previously served as secretary and McCall was on the fundraising committee.

The CCPA was formed in 1992 with the objective and purpose of promoting and maintaining high standards and ethics in the paralegal profession by providing a forum for the exchange of information about the profession, enhancing the role of paralegals in the legal community, and encouraging the continuing education of paralegals.

CCPA serves the community through law-related and community projects.

Speakers

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young attorney Kristen Gibbons Feden presented at the Greensboro Bar Association's annual CLE Seminar.

Feden's presentation, titled “Credibility in the Law: Handling Allegations of Sexual Harassment and Assault,” discussed the interplay between credibility and socio-legal constructs and the role credibility determinations play within the legal system, particularly as it pertains to victims and/or survivors of sexual trauma.

Feden is a litigator who concentrates her practice on institutional responses to sexual and gender-based harassment and abuse, ethical concerns, discrimination and other misconduct.

Feden represents clients in general and complex litigation matters, including sexual harassment, employment discrimination and Title IX and corporate regulatory compliance, as well as clients in the financial services industry.

Events

This year's Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Symposium is set to examine the future of sports and how the industry is evolving to respond to societal and fan demands with insights from athletes, industry experts and attorneys.

The symposium is slated to take place in the Arthur M. Goldberg 66 Commons at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law on Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This program, which is open to the public, is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 2.5 substantive CLE credits and 1 Ethics credit.
