Bruce ChasanU.S. District Judge Anita Brody of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled that solo attorney Bruce Chasan failed to adequately allege that he entered into an agreement with litigator John Pierce and Pierce Bainbridge to resolve a dispute involving a client who had left Chasan for Pierce.

“Because the negotiations never concluded and no agreement was signed, there was no 'meeting of the minds' as to the terms of and consideration involved in Chasan's alleged agreement with defendants,” Brody said in an eight-page memorandum.
