Capehart Scatchard shareholder Vincent T. Cieslik served as chair of the March of Dimes Walk and 5K Run for Babies, held on the campus of Rowan University.
Cieslik and employees of the firm, along with friends and family members, participated in the event, which raised money for research into the cause and a cure for premature childbirth, to raise awareness of premature birth and health related issues, and to promote healthy moms and healthy babies.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Kristin J. Jones presented with Pivot Point Security at the International Legal Technology Association Roadshow in Philadelphia.
Jones' presentation, “The Future of Security and Privacy,” discussed data privacy and cybersecurity regulations, breach notification laws and emerging data broker laws.
Jones advises clients in privacy and data security matters, working with clients before and after a cyber incident–from preparing privacy and security policies to guidance on responding to a data breach.
In addition to her client work, Jones serves as chief privacy officer for the firm and is responsible for protecting the firm's data–including information received from our clients–from unauthorized users.

Landman Corsi Ballaine & Ford, a civil litigation firm, announced that Jennifer Ramme rejoined the firm as a member.
Ramme initially joined Landman Corsi in 2012, after serving as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Malachy E. Mannion of the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Her practice focuses on employment, civil rights and professional liability litigation.
From 2017 to 2019, Ramme left private practice to work for Zurich Insurance Co., where she oversaw the handling of employment, professional liability and general liability claims.

Michael L. Turner, shareholder and co-chair of the asbestos and mass tort litigation practice group in the Philadelphia office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, was inducted as a fellow into the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Turner began his career in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and then entered private practice with tenures at the Philadelphia firm Krusen, Evans and Byrne and later at Kelley Jasons McGuire & Spinelli, where he was a co-founder.
He joined Marshall Dennehey's casualty department in 2007, where he continues to focus on asbestos and mass tort litigation matters.
Turner is a member of the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel.

Robert L. Collings, co-chair of the energy and environmental practice group of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, authored three chapters in the Fourth Edition of The Solicitor's
Handbook, published by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
Collings wrote about “Stormwater Management,” “Pennsylvania's Voluntary Cleanup Statute,” and “Municipal Solid Waste/Recycling.”
Collings was also involved in all three prior editions of the Handbook.

Driscoll from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr have stepped in to represent Symbotic Inc., an A.I.-enabled technology platform that focuses on increasing supply chain efficiency, and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

Edmund Polubinski and Marie Killmond of Davis Polk & Wardwell have entered appearances for data platform software development company MongoDB and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The case is 1:24-cv-07594, Roy v. Ittycheria et al.

The suit was filed Sept. 7 in Wisconsin Western District Court by Levine Eisberner LLC and Siri & Glimstad on behalf of a project manager who claims that he was wrongfully terminated after applying for a religious exemption to the defendant's COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The case, assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Anita Marie Boor, is 3:24-cv-00630, Secker, Nathan v. Epic Systems Corporation.

David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
