Events

Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano, Kline & Specter, Simon & Simon and Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky are set to face off against each other Thursday.

Instead of cross-examining witnesses and raising objections, the firms will be swinging for the fences to raise money for charity.

Teams comprised of lawyers and staff from each firm will square off in a softball tournament at Sweetbriar Fields in West Fairmount Park.

Games are slated to begin at 4 p.m. Each team will play two games.

All proceeds will be donated to a charity of the winning firm's choice.

Pond Lehocky will be playing for Kids Chance of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarship grants for college and vocational education to the children of Pennsylvania workers killed or seriously injured in work-related accidents.
