Gross McGinley announced that attorney Kara M. Beck joined the firm.
Beck joins the firm's litigation group, representing individuals and businesses of all sizes in business disputes and breach-of-contract matters.
She also assists the firm's insurance defense clients in coverage issues and disputes. Prior to joining Gross McGinley, Beck worked for Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, counseling energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2017.

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott added its summer associates for 2019: Azhia Goodwin-Rowe, Nicholas M. Bencsics and Kelsi E. Robinson.
This is Goodwin-Rowe's second year working as a summer associate with Meyer Unkovic.
She recently completed her second year at Duquesne University School of Law.
Bencsics completed his second year at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Robinson completed her first year at Penn State Law.

McAndrews Law Offices announced the hiring of John W. Goldsborough as federal litigation and appellate counsel in the firm's Berwyn office.
Goldsborough spent the last 19 years serving as a prosecutor in the federal litigation unit of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.
Goldsborough handled approximately 400 habeas cases including numerous hearings and oral arguments.
He briefed over 40 appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to that, he held clerkships with the Pennsylvania Superior Court and Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and practiced in family law, mental health and child dependency.
Goldsborough earned his law degree from Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law.

King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul announced that Karley Biggs Sebia was appointed to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation Lehigh Valley board of directors.
PCFLV is dedicated to supporting quality of life for children diagnosed with cancer in the greater Lehigh Valley and their families, as well as long-term survivorship and bereavement programs.
Sebia is a partner with the law firm, focusing her practice in business and real estate law.
She also serves as the president of the Moravian Academy alumni board and is a board member for Family Connection of Easton.
She earned her Juris Doctor at Duquesne University School of Law.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

Yalowitz of Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer have entered their appearances for Hanaco Venture Capital and its executives, Lior Prosor and David Frankel, in a pending securities lawsuit. The action, filed on Dec. 24 in New York Southern District Court by Zell, Aron & Co. on behalf of Goldeneye Advisors, accuses the defendants of negligently and fraudulently managing the plaintiff's $1 million investment. Attorneys from A&O Shearman has stepped in as defense counsel for Toronto-Dominion Bank and other defendants in a pending securities class action. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, is 1:24-cv-09445, Gonzalez v. The Toronto-Dominion Bank et al.

Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Susan K. Declercq, is 2:24-cv-13131, The Town Residences LLC v. T-Mobile US, Inc. et al.
