Lamb McErlane employees participated in the annual Legal Lemonade Day and Casual Fridays in June to support and raise funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
ALSF is a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting and finding a cure for pediatric cancer.

Blank Rome partner Charles S. Marion was elected to serve as the new president of the Wharton Club of Philadelphia, the local alumni club for the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
At Blank Rome, Marion focuses his practice in the areas of franchise litigation, complex business litigation, intellectual property litigation and website accessibility and other litigation brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Marion is past chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association federal courts committee and was an elected member of the executive committee of the young lawyers' division.

The conclusion of the Pennsylvania Bar Association annual meeting signalled the start of the 2019-20 term for new members and new leadership posts for some existing members on the association's board of governors.

Jennifer Platzkere Snyder, a Dilworth Paxson partner and member of the firm's labor and employment practice group, is set to speak at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's “CLE Down the Shore 2019” conference from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 16.
Snyder will present the topic “Ripped from the Headlines: Lawyers Behaving Badly.” In this interactive session, panelists will use hypotheticals drawn from real-life newsworthy scenarios to educate attendees on important ethics issues facing all attorneys.
The two-day conference is slated to begin Aug. 15 and will be held at the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
