Conrad O'Brien held its eighth annual Community Service Day.
This year, Conrad O'Brien attorneys and staff volunteered at Cradles to Crayons, where the employees worked in the organization's “Giving Factory” to put together packages that will then be distributed to local disadvantaged children through the organization's network of service partners.
The firm also conducted fundraisers throughout the summer for Cradles to Crayons leading up to the community service day. Pictured are some of the attorneys and staff who volunteered their time at The Giving Factory.

Zachary A. Sivertsen, as a member of the Montgomery Bar Association Leadership Academy, helped to organize and run the inaugural Montgomery Bar Association Reentry Day.
The program consisted of various clinics and informational resources related to the needs of those reentering the community following incarceration and presentations by Montgomery County social service agencies seeking to address the diverse needs of Montgomery County residents.
Sivertsen practices land use and zoning, real estate, litigation, construction and municipal law at Eastburn and Gray.
He appears on behalf of clients before zoning hearing boards and municipal governing bodies in land development matters, zoning appeals and applications for zoning variances.
Sivertsen represents municipalities in litigation matters, drafts municipal ordinances, files and responds to right-to-know requests, and works with local historic architectural review bodies.
He litigates matters on behalf of private and municipal clients before the courts of common pleas, magisterial district courts, Commonwealth Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Wisler Pearlstine announced that Christopher E. Ezold joined the firm as partner.
He will be a member of the firm's business department and an assistant director of the general counsel initiative.
Prior to joining the firm, Ezold served as managing partner of the business and health law group at The Ezold Law Firm.
Ezold has 25 years of experience advising businesses and professionals on corporate matters, finance, equity and asset purchases, mergers and acquisitions, taxation of transactions, corporate and investor rights, technology issues, contracts, operational matters, employment issues, intellectual property rights and licensing, and regulatory compliance.
His practice also includes litigating commercial, business and employment matters in state and federal court and before federal and state agencies.
Ezold's clients come from industries including biotech/life sciences, commercial and consumer services, health care, technology and more.
He also advises employers on noncompetition agreements and deferred compensation plans.
He is a child advocate with the Support Center for Child Advocates and a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery bar associations.

McNees Wallace & Nurick announced the addition of Peter J. Haldeman to the firm's real estate and litigation practice groups.
Haldeman focuses on assisting clients with real estate litigation matters, including land use appeals, purchase/sale contract claims, lease disputes and title challenges.
Prior to joining McNees, he practiced with firms in York and Harrisburg in the areas of real estate law, general litigation and municipal law.
Haldeman received his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
