Matthew W. Quigg, an associate at Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, served as a presenter at the “2019 Talking Criminal Law at the Beach” seminar given by the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Quigg spoke on the topic “Ethical Considerations in Practicing Criminal Law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.”
Quigg graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Upon graduation, he received the Victor A. Jaczun Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Quigg is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County bar associations, where he serves as vice-chair of the criminal defense committee.

Nicholas A. Pasciullo presented a program in June with a panel of insurance executives titled “Reinsurance—Adjusting the Complex Claim from Inception to Resolution.”
The program at the Loss Executives Association education conference in Bermuda detailed the relationship and obligations between primary insurers and reinsurers and the steps necessary for acknowledging, investigating, verifying, coordinating and resolving claims; highlighting best practices for primary and reinsurance claims management, outside adjusters and consultants; and demonstrating the integration of all claims investigation activities with an appropriate claims resolution.
In his legal practice, Pasciullo represents domestic and international underwriters in property, cyber and energy and engineered risks insurance matters throughout the United States.
He provides coverage and defense services to his clients, developing and coordinating legal strategies that avoid or reduce conflicts during the adjustment of claims and where disputes arise, developing and executing detailed litigation plans designed to resolve conflicts in a timely and efficient manner, including through alternative dispute resolution, mediation and litigation.
|Elected and Appointed
Jeffrey M. Williams, founder and managing partner of Williams Family Law, was selected to chair the nominating committee for the 2019-20 board of managers of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers’ Pennsylvania chapter.
The slate of officers is set to be presented at the chapter’s annual meeting.
Members of the AAML collaborate with lawyers, legislators, judges, agencies and professionals to improve the standards and processes of resolving conflicts involving child support, divorce, custody and juvenile matters.
Williams is immediate past president of the AAML Pennsylvania chapter.
He concentrates his practice on domestic relations, primarily handling complex divorces, high-income alimony/spousal support, complex child support and high-conflict child custody cases.
While served as the chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association family law section and is a diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
