Philadelphia personal injury law firm Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig announced that attorney Bethany Nikitenko joined its practice.
Nikitenko represents individuals and families who were catastrophically injured by medical malpractice, auto and motor vehicle accidents, unsafe buildings, defective products and sexual abuse.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Drinker Biddle & Reath hosted a panel discussion and networking reception for the Association of Corporate Counsel’s 2019 diversity corporate summer interns.
This year’s Diversity Corporate Summer Internship Program had a record number of applications and participating companies from the Greater Philadelphia region.
The panelists included: Teleicia Dambreville, director and employment counsel at Burlington Stores Inc.; Maria Lewis, chief diversity officer and counsel at Drinker Biddle; and Morenike Williams, associate counsel at Vanguard.
The panel discussed interpersonal skills in the legal profession, how to handle difficult conversations, and other tips for new lawyers.
A networking reception with attorneys from the Association of Corporate Counsel and Drinker Biddle followed the panel discussion.

Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano chief strategy officer Shawn Lehocky participated in TechRepublic’s chief information officer jury, discussing the implementation of cloud-based technology in the legal industry.
In this session, the jury members were asked whether their organizations use cloud solutions.
Two-thirds of the 12-member jury responded that they were using cloud-based service.
Lehocky said that Pond Lehocky is using such technology and referenced the firm’s implementation of Litify, a cloud-based case management and business operations platform.
TechRepublic is an online trade publication and social community for IT professionals.
Each month, it asks CIOs, chief technology officers, IT directors and others from the private sector and government agencies to participate on its CIO Jury.
The publication selects 12 members to form the jury, seeking their input on issues for IT decision makers.

Driscoll from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr have stepped in to represent Symbotic Inc., an A.I.-enabled technology platform that focuses on increasing supply chain efficiency, and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
