Larsson & Scheuritzel announced that David J. Larsson is slated to be a co-presenter at the 2019 U.S. Shopping Center Law Conference sponsored by the International Council of Shopping Centers in San Diego from Oct. 23 to 25.
His topic is "The Active Ingredients in Grocery Store Leases."
Larsson practices commercial real estate law, advising clients—particularly owners, tenants and other "end users"—on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leasing, financing and asset management projects across the United States.
Larsson also has experience in energy technology engineering, procurement and construction agreements.
A former partner at an AmLaw 100 law firm, Larsson served as in-house general counsel and executive vice president to a Philadelphia-area shopping center development company, where he acquired experience in acquisition, development, construction and management of ground-up shopping center properties.
Larsson is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar associations, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the International Legal Technology Association.
Larsson earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg announced that Inna Keith joined the firm as an associate in its litigation practice group.
Keith focuses her practice on all aspects of complex commercial and corporate litigation, with experience in representing individual and business clients in litigation claims, including products liability, premises liability, consumer fraud, toxic tort, construction defect and dram shop cases.
Keith earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey.
Keith previously worked for Reilly, McDevitt & Henrich in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Greenberg Traurig announced it is growing its investment management practice in the Philadelphia office with the addition of Nathan Iacovino and Ryan Helmrich, both from Pepper Hamilton.
Iacovino joins the firm in an of counsel role, bringing experience from serving as a former vice president at BNY Mellon, where he served an alternative investment client base in the regulatory control group.
In addition to Pepper Hamilton, he previously worked at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young. He is admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Helmrich joins the firm as an associate with experience as a former member of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch in-house counsel team and from a previous post with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
His admissions include New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.

The Duane Morris tax accounting group added Philip Liotta, certified public accountant, as manager.
Liotta joins TAG from a Philadelphia CPA firm.
Liotta will be primarily responsible for tax planning and compliance activities, including tax minimization strategies, for a diverse client base including high-net-worth individuals, businesses and trusts.
He will also devote time to custom accounting and consulting activities for small businesses and family offices.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

Edmund Polubinski and Marie Killmond of Davis Polk & Wardwell have entered appearances for data platform software development company MongoDB and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The case is 1:24-cv-07594, Roy v. Ittycheria et al.

The suit was filed Sept. 7 in Wisconsin Western District Court by Levine Eisberner LLC and Siri & Glimstad on behalf of a project manager who claims that he was wrongfully terminated after applying for a religious exemption to the defendant's COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The case, assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Anita Marie Boor, is 3:24-cv-00630, Secker, Nathan v. Epic Systems Corporation.

David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
