As part of this year's Fall Associate Academy, Blank Rome's multiday orientation and onboarding training for incoming junior associates, the firm hosted a community service project in the Philadelphia office where associates and professional development team members built tables for Pathways to Housing PA's Furniture Bank of Philadelphia, which collects newly made or gently used furniture from the public and provides it to individuals and families in crisis.
Blank Rome associates Adam Florek, Subrina Chowdhury, Grace Chamoun and Natalie Radabaugh built a table as part of the 2019 Fall Associates Academy community service project.

Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti partner Marc S. Raspanti, the founding partner of Pietragallo's global qui tam practice group, along with Meredith S. Auten of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Virginia A. Gibson of Hogan Lovells, are set to speak at the 20th annual
Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Compliance Congress from Nov. 6 to 8 in Washington, D.C. The discussion is titled "The Changing Face of the Qui Tam."
The Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Congress is the oldest and largest gathering of pharma and device compliance professionals and in-house counsel who come together annually to discuss best practices in legal and regulatory compliance.
Raspanti, who is also the founder of the firm's white-collar defense practice group, began practicing in the area of Qui Tam over 30 years ago.
Since its inception, Pietragallo's qui tam practice group recovered nearly $2 billion on behalf of federal and state taxpayers.
Elected and Appointed
McNees Wallace & Nurick announced that attorney Stephanie J. Sprenkle is the 78th inductee into the Commercial Real Estate Women Network CREW Visionaries program.
The CREW Network, founded in 1989, is a professional association for women in the real estate profession.
Its Visionaries program acknowledges individuals who support the mission of the CREW Network Foundation, a fund created in 1998 with the goal of advancing women in the commercial real estate industry.
Sprenkle has served on the board of the CREW Philadelphia chapter since 2015 and served as president in 2018.
Sprenkle practices in the McNees real estate practice group where she assists purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of real property and development of real estate with negotiating development agreements, easement agreements and agreements concerning covenants and restrictions for developers, property owners and tenants.
She represents tenants and landlords with respect to commercial leasing, particularly in retail and office leasing and financial institutions and borrowers regarding real estate and asset-based lending financing, restructures and participation and intercreditor agreements.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

Yalowitz of Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer have entered their appearances for Hanaco Venture Capital and its executives, Lior Prosor and David Frankel, in a pending securities lawsuit. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
