Archer announced that Benjamin J. Eichel joined the firm's Philadelphia office as of counsel, and Danielle M. Karcich joined the Philadelphia office as an associate.
Eichel is a member of the firm's business litigation group and focuses his practice on complex breach-of-contract litigation, contract interpretation disputes, arbitration, international matters and antitrust and unfair competition litigation.
Eichel litigates breach-of-contract claims with both domestic and international implications, including commercial contract disputes, employee/employer disputes, shareholder or partnership agreements, vendor to vendor disputes, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, and disputes relating to the ownership of intellectual property.
Eichel represents clients before the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, and the International Chamber of Commerce.
Eichel received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
Karcich is a litigator with experience in complex commercial and civil litigation matters in both state and federal court, including breach-of-contract actions, shareholder disputes, fraudulent conveyance actions, noncompetition actions, construction matters and products liability matters.
She represents clients in industries such as finance and banking, manufacturing, home building and consumer products.
Karcich has experienced in all aspects of litigation, from client counseling and initial pleadings to appeals.
She clerked for the New Jersey Superior Court Judge Mary K. White.
Karcich received her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

Gregg Kanter of Gregg H. Kanter Law Office was a panelist at the New York County Lawyers Association's CLE program titled "Winning Cases in Federal Court."
The CLE covered the fundamentals of litigating a civil action in the Southern District of New York, and Kanter's presentation addressed post-trial motions, commencing an appeal and judgment enforcement.
The CLE was sponsored by the association's federal courts committee, for whom Kanter served as chair from 2009 to 2012.

Youman & Caputo founding partner David Caputo spoke at the National Employment Lawyers Association New Jersey annual Conference in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
The topic was "Handling False Claims Act Cases," and Caputo addressed the practical considerations in representing individuals with both qui tam False Claims Act and employment claims.
Youman & Caputo senior associate Zac Arbitman spoke at the 19th annual Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund Conference in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 2nd.
Arbitman's panel discussed emerging areas in whistleblower litigation, and he addressed the intersection of the False Claims Act and antitrust law.
