Curtin & Heefner announced that Arthur R. Sagoskin joined the firm as a partner in the firm's personal injury department.
Sagoskin will practice out of the firm's Yardley office.
As an assistant public defender in Bucks County for five years at the start of his career, he handled cases in all aspects of litigation. Subsequently, he entered private practice and taught contract law at Temple University.
Sagoskin focuses his practice on personal injury cases including auto accidents, construction site accidents, premises liability involving slip and fall cases, and liquor liability/dram shop accidents.
He is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Bucks County Bar Association.
Sagoskin was one of the founders and continues to serve as the solicitor for the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund, which benefits members and relatives of police, fire and others in volunteer service.

Burns White added five new attorneys in the third quarter of 2019: Justin B. Anderson, Joshua D. Brown, Ellen Nunno Corbo, Quinn A. McCall and Thomas M. Pohl.
Anderson is based out of Philadelphia. A member of the construction and litigation practice groups, Anderson represents clients in contract matters, professional liability suits and business transactions.
Brown is an associate in the firm's railroad law practice group. A litigator, he defends Class I and short line railroads in matters including occupational disease and toxic tort.
Corbo is of counsel and specializes in litigation in New Jersey and New York, with concentrations in insurance defense, corporate/complex commercial, premises liability, mass tort and retail owner/operator liability defense.
McCall is an associate in the firm's energy and real estate practice groups focusing on due diligence, title curative and certified title opinions for clients engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of natural gas in the Appalachian Basin.
Pohl is a member with a practice that focuses on complex commercial and civil litigation and business disputes. He is a former assistant U.S. attorney. He has experience litigating matters involving commercial breach of contract, fraud and other tort claims.
Elected and Appointed
Saxton & Stump appointed attorney Katherine P. Granbois as chair of the firm's business and corporate group.
In this role, Granbois will oversee client service and provide direction for the strategic growth of the practice area.
Granbois currently serves as immediate past board chair of the United Way of Lancaster County and vice president of the Lancaster chapter of Daughters of Penelope.
She also recently served as a mentor for the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Women in Business mentoring program, fundraising chair of the Lancaster Youth Amateur Hockey League and volunteer for Assets of Lancaster.
She joined Saxton & Stump in January 2018 as shareholder and has more than 25 years of experience concentrated in corporate and business law.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. Attorneys from A&O Shearman has stepped in as defense counsel for Toronto-Dominion Bank and other defendants in a pending securities class action. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, is 1:24-cv-09445, Gonzalez v. The Toronto-Dominion Bank et al.

Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
