Cohen will focus his practice on commercial litigation. He will helm the firm's alternative dispute resolution practice and serve as arbitrator and mediator for fee disputes and intra-law firm disputes.

Between his two judicial terms, Cohen was a law firm partner in Philadelphia, practicing in all aspects of commercial litigation with an emphasis on real estate and railroad matters.
