Attendees included Paul Geller, regional executive director at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation; Eisenberg Rothweiler attorney Nancy Winkler; and Rhondell Domilici, director, national advancement at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
Honored
McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Kate Millikan is slated to be recognized at a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation event in Harrisburg on Nov. 9.
The Foundation's Finest event honors individuals who have shown leadership, have excelled professionally and have positively impacted their communities.
In accepting this recognition, Millikan and the other honorees were given the opportunity to display their community involvement and highlight their professional achievements while raising funds to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Millikan raised just over $2,000, which will go toward the foundation's research and medical and educational programs.
Millikan practices in the McNees real estate group focusing on residential and commercial development, property acquisition, lease negotiation and land use concerns.
Speakers
Villanova University Widger School of Law's Eleanor H. McCullen Center for Law, Religion and Public Policy is set to host Keith Whittington, William Nelson Cromwell professor of politics at Princeton University, as a speaker.
The program is scheduled for 4 p.m. Nov. 12 in the Laurence E. Hirsch '71 Classroom at Villanova.
The lecture will focus on Whittington's book "Speak Freely: Why Universities Must Defend Free Speech," which won the PROSE Award for best book in education and the Heterodox Academy Award for Exceptional Scholarship.
The book examines the debate around free speech on campuses and argues that free speech is the lifeblood of universities, and it posits that universities must make room for free speech from all sides of the political spectrum.
The lecture is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one substantive CLE credit.

Louis Hockman joined the Philadelphia office of Rawle & Henderson as of counsel to the firm.
He is a trial attorney with experience serving as lead counsel in jury, non-jury and arbitration matters, representing large insurance, retail, restaurant, property management, banking and hospitality companies.
He received complete defense verdicts in diverse matters.
Hockman focuses his practice in the areas of general liability, casualty and premises liability, commercial litigation, professional liability, products liability, insurance coverage, commercial motor vehicle defense, employment relations and appellate matters.
Hockman earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University in 1988.
Hockman is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to joining Rawle & Henderson, Hockman was a partner with a midsize Philadelphia civil litigation defense law firm.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
