Linda S. Judson has joined the Pittsburgh office of Rawle & Henderson as of counsel to the firm. She has experience in the area of workers' compensation litigation.

With a background in health care and insurance, Judson represents clients in workers' compensation matters, including litigation, insurance policy review, reserve analysis, risk management, return-to-work programs and establishing health care panels.

Judson began her legal career as a clerk for the Commonwealth Court and subsequently worked in the field of risk management with an international brokerage firm.

She is a frequent speaker on litigation strategies and claims management in workers' compensation matters.

Judson earned her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Elected and Appointed

Gov. Tom Wolf appointed Gregory G. Schwab as general counsel of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

As general counsel, Schwab leads the governor's Office of General Counsel and oversees the provision of legal services to the governor, his senior staff and over 30 executive branch and independent agencies.

Schwab previously served as first deputy general counsel in OGC.

Tucker Arensberg announced that two of its senior associates, Jeremy Farrell and Rebecca Moran, were elected to the firm's membership as shareholders.

Farrell is a civil litigator and management-side employment lawyer.

He helps employers and their managers proactively solve legal issues in the workplace and represents them in court and before administrative agencies like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor and unemployment compensation bureau.

Farrell also represents companies and individuals in a variety of commercial disputes, including those involving breach of contract, negligence, fraud and oil and gas matters.

He represents utility companies in court and before the Public Utility Commission on a range of issues, including allegations of property damage, unsafe or unreasonable service, and personal injury.

Moran is an attorney in the firm's business and finance group and is a member of the firm's real estate and construction, energy, mergers and acquisitions, health care and financial institutions practice groups.

In her transactional practice, Moran drafts and negotiates contracts, represents clients in M&A transactions and advises on general legal matters.

Moran's health care practice focuses on representing physicians, physical therapists, dentists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

She represents clients in practice formation, employment contract reviews and in the sale of their practices.

Moran represents clients in a large commercial litigation matters. She advises corporate clients in the beginning of a transaction or relationship of the potential issues and means to mitigate risks.
