Announcements

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott kicked off its second Kindness Card Project.

The project was developed by the firm's wellness and diversity committees to encourage the spread of kindness and appreciation during the holiday season and throughout the year.

Led by attorney Beth Slagle, more than 50 staff members and attorneys volunteered to create hand-painted cards that are available for purchase.

All donations collected for the cards will benefit 412 Food Rescue and its food distribution and food waste mitigation initiatives throughout the Pittsburgh region.

In addition, employees of 412 Food Rescue volunteered to paint cards.

The 2019 Kindness Card collection is now on sale on the MUS website.

The organization 412 Food Rescue was founded as a direct response to the disconnect between food waste, hunger and environmental sustainability.

Its portfolio of food recovery initiatives ranges from building technology and logistics infrastructure to creating new markets for products that redirect good food from feeding landfills to feeding people.
