During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Capehart Scatchard held a "Jeans Month" fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.
To support the cause, attorneys and staff were asked to make a donation to wear jeans to work. The firm's "Jeans Month" raised $1,434 for NBCF.
The foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor Janelle Hail.
NBCF educates people about breast cancer and provides free mammograms to women in need.

The quarterfinal round of the 60th Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition is set to take place Monday, with the semifinal round Tuesday.
The final round of the competition will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. This event is open to the public.
The competition is an annual intra-school tournament and a tradition at Villanova Law.
The competition is designed to foster student development in written and oral advocacy through simulated appellate argument.
This year's judges, who will preside over the final round, are New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Barry T. Albin, President Judge Emeritus Susan P. Gantman of the Superior
Court of Pennsylvania and Senior Judge Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Speakers
Dilworth Paxson partners Victoria Reider and John Squires, along with Amit Sharma, founder and CEO of FinClusive, are slated to present "FinTech, RegTech and What's New in Financial Services" for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Business Law Institute 2019 from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday.
The complete two-day program continues Friday and offers up to 12 CLE credits, including 3 ethics and 14 CPA credits.
Reider will provide background and relevance for attendees who may not be familiar with these areas.
Sharma will discuss FinClusive, which provides a low-cost, high-compliance and blockchain-architected digital banking, routing and payments platform.
Squires, chairman of the intellectual property and emerging company practice at Dilworth, will discuss the intellectual property aspects of those technologies.

Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads announced the addition of three associates to the firm's Philadelphia office.
Elizabeth Catalano graduated from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Catalano was a law clerk for a local Philadelphia law firm and a certified legal intern in Villanova's Health Law Clinic.
As a summer associate at Montgomery McCracken, Catalano participated as a certified legal intern in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania's Supervision to Aid Reentry Program.
Kacie E. Kergides earned her Juris Doctor from Villanova Law.
Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Kergides was a legal extern in the compliance office at the University of Pennsylvania athletics department and a legal intern for the NBA Coaches Association.
Joseph E. Samuel graduated from Villanova Law.
Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Samuel was a judicial extern to U.S. District Judge Elizabeth T. Hey in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
He also worked as a certified legal intern in Villanova University's Federal Tax Clinic.
