Gross McGinley added Robert Campbell to the firm.
Campbell joins the firm's medical malpractice defense team, representing health care providers in patient care matters.
Campbell previously worked at Willman & Silvaggio in Pittsburgh, focusing on asbestos litigation and defense of manufacturers and suppliers of products used in the steelmaking industry.
He assists fellow medical malpractice defense attorneys in working with risk-management teams to investigate claims and handle complex matters of law and medicine.
Campbell earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2017.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young announced that Patrick J. Kelly joined the Malvern office as counsel in the intellectual property group.
Kelly focuses his practice on intellectual property matters within the life sciences industry.
He has experience serving as an adviser to pharmaceutical, biotech and scientific instrumentation companies in all aspects of patent law, including preparing and prosecuting patent applications, formulating and maintaining biotech intellectual property estates, due diligence, freedom-to-operate studies and licensing.
Kelly began his career as an academic scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology.
Before joining Stradley Ronon, Kelly was a partner in patent and general practice law firms and served as an adviser to startup programs and medical technology incubators.
Kelly earned his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

The Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors Association presented Ellis H. Katz of Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams with the 2019 President's Award for Distinguished Career Achievement at the Solicitors Association School Law Workshop.
Each year, the association honors a practitioner who contributes to Pennsylvania school law through professional accomplishment; donates energy to the association, its members and Pennsylvania public schools; and promotes the association's tradition of collegiality.
Katz represented over 100 school districts in Pennsylvania in matters ranging from day-to-day solicitor work to complex federal appellate work and litigation.
He participates in contract negotiations and bargaining sessions, advancing issues including coordinated bargaining and subcontracting.
With experience in both private and public sector labor law, Katz also lectures and is published in national and regional labor law journals.
He taught graduate classes in labor relations at Penn State University, and he served as assistant counsel for the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board from 1981 to 1983.
Katz is a former managing partner of Sweet Stevens who is now of counsel to the firm.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
