Kang Haggerty & Fetbroyt, a business litigation boutique, announced that Maliheh Zare and Michael Weinert joined the firm as associates.
Zare comes to Kang Haggerty with legal research experience, recently completing her postgraduate studies at the New York University School of Law.
Zare worked as a research assistant and a teaching assistant at both the law school and the NYU Stern School of Business.
She was also a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School.
Before moving to the United States, Zare earned an LL.M., with a focus on intellectual property, and a Ph.D.,focusing on corporate law, at the University of Tehran, and an LL.B. (the J.D. equivalent) at the Imam Sadiq University in Tehran, Iran.
She also practiced as a litigator in Iran.
At Kang Haggerty, her practice will focus primarily on complex commercial litigation.
She is admitted to the practice of law in New York.
Weinert joins the firm following completion of judicial law clerkships with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County.
He earned his J.D. from the Widener University Delaware Law School in 2017.
At Kang Haggerty, his practice focuses primarily on business litigation. Weinert is admitted to the practice of law in Pennsylvania.

Fisher & Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, announced the addition of three associates in the firm's Philadelphia office.
Kelsey Beerer helps employers navigate complex employment issues, including litigation and arbitration involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract and wage and hour claims.
She joins from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.
Beerer also has experience handling workplace investigations and assists employers in drafting policies, handbooks and employment-related agreements to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Prior to entering private practice, she served as a law clerk to Judge John A. Parkins Jr. of the Superior Court of New Castle County, Delaware.
Beerer received her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law. Gabrielle Giombetti will focus her practice on the litigation of employment disputes, with a particular emphasis on enforcement and defense of restrictive covenant and trade secrets matters.
Joining from Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy, she brings experience in advocating for her clients in both jury trials and arbitration proceedings.
Giombetti previously served as a law clerk to Judge Terrence R. Nealon of the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas.
She received her J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law.
Luke McDaniels represents employers in a range of labor and employment matters in state and federal courts and agencies.
He joins the firm from Buchanan Ingersoll.
Prior to entering private practice, McDaniels served as a judicial intern to U.S. District Judge C. Darnell Jones II of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
McDaniels received his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
He is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

White and Williams associate Felix Yelin was appointed chancellor of the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society.
Yelin was announced as chancellor at the annual Louis D. Brandeis Law Society Chanukah Party held at the National Museum of American Jewish History.
Yelin also served as the Brandeis Law Society's corresponding secretary, executive board member and vice chancellor.
He participated in and helped organize Wills for Heroes volunteer events to assist first responders with life estate documents.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.
