The Barristers' Association of Philadelphia held a Lunch-N-Learn in collaboration with Elm & Broad Recruiting, moderated by Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr associate Angella Middleton, to educate attorneys considering transitioning jobs about working with a recruiter to achieve their goals.
Nearly 30 attorneys gathered for the hourlong CLE held at Eastern University to hear PIDC vice president and assistant general counsel Tarik Brooks, Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin associate Daniella Price, and Elm & Broad Recruiting attorney recruiter Lamont Johnson provide their insights.

Lamb McErlane partner James Sargent was a co-presenter at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's program "A Practical Guide to Handling a Business Divorce."
The course covered strategies and tactics for avoiding and, if necessary, resolving the legal and business aspects of shareholder and partner disputes in privately held or public companies.
At Lamb McErlane Sargent is co-chairman of the appellate advocacy group and litigation department.
He represents national and multinational manufacturers in litigation and appeals involving class action, products liability, taxation, warranty, fraud, employment and consumer protection law claims.

Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin announced that Carl N. Weiner presented at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's 2019 Real Estate Institute.
Weiner presented the seminar "We are Family—Zoning Issues relating to AirBNBs, Sober Houses and Group Homes."
Weiner co-chairs Hamburg Rubin's real estate group.
He handles an array of real estate law matters for Delaware Valley clients, ranging from zoning and land development to real-estate financing and acquisition.
He worked to develop over 100 condominium and homeowners' associations and represents several associations.
Weiner gained experience in zoning litigation from appearances before zoning hearing boards and appellate arguments.
A frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Community Associations Institute and the Montgomery Bar Association, Weiner is a past chairman of the MBA specialization committee and real estate land use committee.
He is also a past president of the Pennsylvania/Greater Delaware Valley chapter of the Community Associations Institute.
Weiner is past president of the Montgomery County Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association.
Weiner served multiple terms as chair of the Pennsylvania legislative action committee of the Community Associations Institute.
Before joining Hamburg Rubin in 1984, Weiner served as a law clerk to Judge Stanley M. Greenberg of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Weiner is a graduate of Boston University School of Law.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
