Reger Rizzo & Darnall partnered with two local nonprofit organizations to provide children in the Philadelphia region with gifts this holiday season.

Over the course of the past four weeks, the attorneys and staff of Reger Rizzo donated more than 200 toys, games, gift cards and articles of clothing to Northern Children's Services and the Support Center for Child Advocates in support of their annual holiday drives.

Robert Small, partner in the firm's employment practices group, coordinated a drive for NCS. NCS supports the healthy development of children while stabilizing their families to build stronger communities by providing a continuum of care to children and their families across the Greater Philadelphia region. Additionally,

James Griffith, partner in Reger Rizzo's litigation group, coordinated a drive for the SCCA. The SCCA provides legal assistance and social service advocacy for abused and neglected children in Philadelphia County.

Additions

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer announce the hiring of Timothy R. Kraeer in Allentown.

Kraeer will be litigating workers' compensation and general liability matters.

Kraeer comes to Thomas Thomas with experience in civil litigation, personal injury and workers' compensation matters.

He attended law school at Widener University Delaware Law School.

He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Elected and Appointed

Charny, Karpousis, Altieri & Donoian announced that partner Rebecca A. Berger was appointed to the New Jersey Supreme Court State Domestic Violence Working Group—a group responsible for resolving the systemic issues facing the courts in the area of domestic violence.

A former member of the Burlington County, New Jersey, Prosecutor's Office domestic violence unit, Berger has experience in this area and advocates in such matters of abuse.

She will work alongside other legal peers as well as members of the division of child protection and permanency, division of women, New Jersey State Police and other like organizations.

Berger began practicing law 13 years ago and represents clients in divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, property settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence and municipal court matters.

Prior to joining the firm in May 2015, Berger worked as an assistant Burlington County prosecutor for seven years, handling criminal cases on behalf of the State of New Jersey.

During her four years in the domestic violence unit of the Prosecutor's Office, Berger trained law enforcement officers in the investigation and prevention of domestic violence.

She is a member of the state and local bar associations and is co-chair of the Burlington County Bar Association family part section.

Admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Berger is an associate member of the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law Inns of Court and also was an active volunteer with the

Domestic Violence Project and state of New Jersey mediator and community dispute resolution committee.
