Attorneys and staff from Lamb McErlane filled stockings for the Great Valley Food Cupboard this holiday season.
The stockings were filled with hats, gloves, gift cards, etc. and distributed to local underprivileged teens.
Elected and Appointed
Blank Rome announced that seven Philadelphia attorneys were elected partner, and four associates were elevated to of counsel.
The newly elected partners are Bridget Mayer Briggs, Charles A. Fitzpatrick IV, Matthew A. Homyk, Christopher A. Manion, Josef W. Mintz, Jeffrey M. Rosenfeld and Inna Zaltsman.
The new of counsel are Michael J. Barry, Jonathan R. King and Frank L. Tamulonis III.
Briggs concentrates her practice on corporate, white-collar and class action defense litigation.
She serves on the board of directors for the Homeless Advocacy Project and is an active member of Blank Rome's recruiting committee.
Fitzpatrick focuses his practice on a range of commercial and corporate litigation matters.
Fitzpatrick serves on the board of trustees for the Hope Partnership for Education and is also dedicated to Blank Rome's pro bono program.
Homyk handles all aspects of trademark and copyright counseling, registration and litigation.
He serves as an adjunct professor of trademark law at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
Manion concentrates his practice on commercial finance, with a focus on secured lending transactions.
Rosenfeld concentrates his practice on business tax law. He also counsels corporate clients and individuals regarding undeclared foreign assets and with making voluntary disclosures to the Internal Revenue Service.
Zaltsman concentrates her practice on corporate and business law. She also volunteers as a pro bono consultant with Compass, a nonprofit organization that provides pro bono consulting services to local nonprofits.
Mintz focuses his practice on all aspects of business bankruptcy and related litigation. He is serves as a barrister of the Delaware Bankruptcy Inns of Court. He maintains a pro bono practice and volunteers for Compass Philadelphia.
Barry provides compliance counsel to national banks on a variety of issues, including safety and soundness issues with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act and the regulations promulgated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
King is a patent prosecution attorney who advises global companies and research universities on protecting their innovations.
Tamulonis focuses his practice on environmental and energy litigation, transactional and regulatory matters as well as public utility matters. He spends time providing pro bono service and is a member of various environmental organizations.

Kutak Rock elected 30 new partners from its attorney ranks in 11 of the firm's 18 offices.
The promotions became effective on Jan. 1.
Fifty-five percent of the new partners are women, and 60% of the class is "Mansfield Diverse," double the requirement for Mansfield Certification Plus.
Among the new partners is Melissa A. Bozeman in Philadelphia.
Bozeman is a commercial litigator who focuses her practice on contingency planning for a variety of business clients and entrepreneurs.
Her core practice focuses on prosecuting business tort claims such as fraud, tortious interference with contractual relationships, and breach of fiduciary duty, as well as contractual and intellectual property claims.
