Clark Hill announced that Robert Hannen joined the firm as a member of the litigation practice in the firm's Pittsburgh office.
Prior to joining Clark Hill Hannen was a member at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott.
He has trial and appellate litigation experience in both federal and state courts representing midsize and large companies, including Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, in commercial and employment-related litigation.
Hannen represents companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology and financial institutions in litigation involving defense of allegations of breach of contract, predatory lending, fraud, wrongful foreclosure, wrongful dishonor of checks and violations of consumer credit protection laws.
Hannen also litigated a number of cases to verdict, including as lead trial counsel in class action litigation.
Hannen earned his Juris Doctor at Duquesne University School of Law.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.

McNees Wallace & Nurick announced the addition of attorney Jo-Anne Thompson to its energy and environmental law practice group.
Thompson most recently clerked for Judge P. Kevin Brobson of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, where she drafted judicial opinions in the area of administrative law.
While in law school she served two terms as the winter law clerk for McNees.
Thompson received her law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School.
Speakers
David Steerman, group chair of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg's family law practice, spoke about family law matters, including child custody, child support, protection from abuse and all economic issues related to divorce, as a panelist at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Family Law 101 program.
Steerman's practice concentrates on family law exclusively.
He handles family law issues such as divorce, same sex dissolution, custody and child and spousal support.
He held leadership positions in the Philadelphia Divorce Bar, including chair of the bar association's family law section.
Steerman has also served as a council member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association family law section.
Steerman earned his Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The action, filed on Dec. 24 in New York Southern District Court by Zell, Aron & Co. on behalf of Goldeneye Advisors, accuses the defendants of negligently and fraudulently managing the plaintiff's $1 million investment. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
