Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky announced that it added two shareholders to its ranks. Pam Connelly joined the firm as a shareholder, and Kathryn Clark was promoted to shareholder.
Connelly most recently served the University of Pittsburgh as its first vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion.
Prior to that she served the university as an associate general counsel, as litigation counsel and as legal counsel on a variety of matters including employment issues.
Connelly worked in private practice earlier in her career.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
At Strassburger McKenna she will focus her practice on higher education law, litigation and employment law.
Clark joined Strassburger McKenna in 2018 after several years of owning and running her own firm.
She previously was a partner at an Am Law 200 firm headquartered in Pittsburgh.
Clark focuses her practice in the areas of education, municipal law and employment law.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Elected and Appointed
Robert R. Watson Jr., a shareholder in Eastburn and Gray's Blue Bell office, was elected to serve as a director for the Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania chapter.
He began his involvement with the ABC almost 20 years ago and previously served as a director from 2008 to 2011.
Watson is a member of the Eastburn and Gray's management committee.
Since being admitted to the bar, his professional practice includes construction litigation and municipal law.
Watson works with large and small contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, municipalities, municipal authorities, developers, public utilities, school districts and individual owners.
His litigation experience also includes work with lending institutions, and he has experience in commercial collections.
He is a frequent lecturer on construction payment claims and advocates for construction clients seeking overdue payments on public and private projects in the state and federal courts.
Watson also served as an arbitrator in both private and compulsory arbitrations.
ABC Eastern Pennsylvania chapter provides its members networking, education, political advocacy and service opportunities.

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott announced that it reelected Robert E. Dauer Jr. and Christopher P. Smith Jr. to serve on the firm's management committee, along with Antoinette C. Oliver, Chad I. Michaelson and W. Grant Scott II.
Smith will also continue to serve as the firm's managing partner.
Dauer focuses his practice on corporate, commercial, real estate, banking and bankruptcy legal matters, and litigation.
He is chair of the firm's creditors' rights and bankruptcy group.
He is also a member of the business litigation group.
He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania bar associations and serves on the board of directors for the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce.
Smith is a member of the firm's real estate and lending practice group and creditors' rights and bankruptcy practice group.
Smith represents lenders, borrowers, purchasers, sellers, landlords, tenants and property owners in connection with all aspects of a real estate transaction.
He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania bar associations and is board chair of Residential Resources Inc., a nonprofit organization that assists in the housing needs of the disabled.
The management committee of Meyer Unkovict, including the managing partner, is responsible for governing the firm and leading strategic initiatives.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
