Lavin, Cedrone, Graver, Boyd & DiSipio shareholder Matthew Garson was elected as the vice president of the Nether Providence Township Board of Commissioners.
Garson served as second ward commissioner in Nether Providence since 2018.
Lavin Cedrone shareholder Mike McKeon was elected to a four-year term as commissioner of Ward 3 in Lower Merion Township.
McKeon served as a Lower Merion commissioner since 2018 and is the chair of the public works committee.
Garson and McKeon focus their practices at Lavin on products liability, contract law and personal injury defense.

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott partner Tony J. Thompson was named to serve as legal counsel for National Association for Industrial and Office Parks Pittsburgh, the regional association of developers, owners, investors and professionals of commercial real estate.
Thompson focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on real estate disputes—including ownership, easement and boundary disputes, land use and zoning hearings, and commercial evictions.
Thompson also assists clients with their development of risk avoidance policies and procedures.
Thompson also handles cases involving breach of contract, trade secrets, infringement and misappropriation claims, products liability defense and other complex commercial litigation, as well as arbitration proceedings.

McNees Wallace & Nurick announced that attorney Anne Zerbe was elected president of the York County Bar Association.
The YCBA is a nonprofit professional membership association of attorneys and judges that exists to serve the needs of lawyers, judges and the York County community.
Zerbe is in the McNees labor and employment practice group, where she focuses her practice on prevention of employment liability, defending against employment claims and assisting clients with compliance issues concerning employment laws and regulations governing employers.
Zerbe counsels employers, practice groups and health care providers on employment law compliance, risk management and HIPAA compliance.
Additionally, she serves as special counsel for investigations and is a trusted resource to handle executive terminations.
