Barley Snyder announced that the Dauphin County Bar Association young lawyers section named attorney John Quain Jr. as the chair of its social committee.
Quain was previously involved in Dauphin County Bar Association leadership as the chair of its young lawyers Law Day committee in 2019.
Quain came to the firm in 2018 from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development as a part of the Office of General Counsel within the governor's office.
In 2019, he joined the board of directors at the Historic Harrisburg Association.

Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg announced that Robert P. Johns III, a member of the firm's bankruptcy and restructuring department, and Teri M. Sherman, a member of the firm's litigation department, were promoted to of counsel, effective Jan. 1.
Johns concentrates his practice on collections, restructuring and litigation matters including foreclosure litigation, commercial workouts, civil litigation, landlord/tenant disputes and transactional real estate.
Johns prosecutes tax lien foreclosures, represents creditor clients in bankruptcy court, conducts Article 9 UCC sales, and executes on secured assets on behalf of individual and institutional clients.
Sherman is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on commercial contract and business torts, intellectual property/technology, residential and commercial real estate disputes, corporate governance and labor and employment disputes.
In her labor and employment practice, Sherman has experience in trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes and assists clients with proactive protection of confidential information through the drafting and implementation of employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements and related policies.
She also represents clients in federal and state government agency investigations, as well as internal corporate investigations.

Wisler Pearlstine announced that Christopher E. Ezold joined the firm as partner.
He will be a member of the firm's business department and an assistant director of the general counsel initiative.
Prior to joining the firm, Ezold served as managing partner of the business and health law group at The Ezold Law Firm.
Ezold has 25 years' experience advising businesses and professionals on corporate matters, finance, equity and asset purchases, mergers and acquisitions, taxation of transactions, corporate and investor rights, technology issues, contracts, operational matters, employment issues, intellectual property rights and licensing and regulatory compliance.
His practice also includes litigating commercial, business and employment matters in state and federal court and before federal and state agencies.
Ezold acts as outside general counsel for clients from industries including biotech/life sciences, commercial and consumer services, health care, technology and more.
He is a child advocate with the Support Center for Child Advocates and a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery bar associations.
