Breandan Q. Nemec was elected to the partnership at Begley, Carlin & Mandio.
Nemec handles personal injury matters, including auto, truck, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents.
He also represents clients in medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability and worker's compensation matters.
Nemec concentrates his practice in the area of personal injury including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability and worker's compensation cases in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He obtained awards and negotiated settlements on behalf of injured clients including six figure results.
Nemec is admitted to the state bars in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as the District Court of New Jersey.
He is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association currently serving the organization on the board of directors.
Nemec earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2007.

Nichols of the Pennsylvania Superior Court educated Barristers' members about the considerations and challenges inherent in the Pennsylvania election process for state judges and the nomination process for seats on the federal bench.

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer attorney Justin D. Beck is set to participate in the American Bar Association's Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Mid-Winter Seminar.
The seminar will be held at the Westin Canal Place hotel in downtown New Orleans. Beck will be moderating the panel discussion on "Workers' Compensation and the 'GIG' Economy: Challenges Flowing From Temporary Work."
The panel will address the law and developments surrounding workers' compensation as the program faces the evolution of the so-called "gig" economy.
Beck will lead the panel discussion consisting of University of Wyoming College of Law professor Michael C. Duff and workers' compensation Judge David B. Torrey with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor Industry in Pittsburgh.
The panel discussion is set to be held March 27.

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott added member Michael J. O'Brien to the firm's Philadelphia office and commercial litigation group.
He represents publicly traded companies, privately held corporations, nonprofit organizations, small businesses, municipalities and individuals in complex litigation matters before Pennsylvania state and federal courts.
His practice includes an assortment of civil litigation matters, including breaches of contract, noncompete agreements, civil fraud cases, products liability, personal injury, construction and environmental actions and other civil disputes.
In addition to his litigation practice, O'Brien has experience in representing and advising nonprofits in governance matters and counsels for-profit and nonprofit organizations addressing corporate responsibility for alleged wrongdoing by employees and agents.
From 2016 to 2020, O'Brien was an adjunct professor in the Marywood University School of Business and Global Innovation, where he taught Legal Environment of Business.
In addition to his civilian practice, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps from 2007 to 2017.
O'Brien earned his Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2009.
He is a member of the Federal, Pennsylvania and Lackawanna bar associations.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
