Unruh, Turner, Burke & Frees announced that Ryan M. Jennings joined the firm as a partner in the firm's municipal and land use practice groups.
Jennings' areas of specialization also include appellate and governmental matters, as well as litigation.
As a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, Ryan's legal education and training also included several internships, including serving as a law clerk in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas; the Essex County Prosecutor's Office in Newark, New Jersey; and at a general practice law firm in Chester County.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennings practiced law at a Chester County-based firm where practiced municipal law, land development and civil litigation.
Jennings is a member of the Chester County Bar Association. He was recently appointed to the bar association's board of directors. Jennings is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and a barrister member of The Honorable John E. Stively Jr. American Inn of Court.
Elected and Appointed
Laffey, Bucci & Kent announced that founding attorney Brian Kent was named to the board of directors of Child USA, a nonprofit think tank dedicated to protecting kids and preventing abuse.
Kent was a sex crimes unit prosecutor and has nearly 16 years of legal experience specializing in representing survivors of abuse, assault and exploitation.
Kent also serves as a board member of the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
Kent received the 2019 National Center on Sexual Exploitation's Civilian Leadership Award.

Eastburn and Gray announced the election of Grace M. Deon as the firm's new president and CEO.
She succeeds D. Rodman Eastburn.
Deon, a past president of the Bucks County Bar Association, is the first woman to lead a major law firm headquartered in Bucks County.
Her presidency comes on the heels of the election of two new female shareholders: Erin Kernan Aronson and Sarah A. Eastburn.
Deon's practice includes employment, commercial and special education litigation. She began as an attorney with the firm for nearly 30 years ago and served on its management committee for the past eight.
Joining Deon on the firm's 2020 management committee will be Robert M. Cox, Kimberly Litzke, Henry E. VanBlunk, Julie L. Von Spreckelsen and Robert R. Watson Jr.
Cox will serve as treasurer and oversee the finances of the firm. He is a member of the firm's education, business and corporate law practice.
Litzke will serve as secretary. She is the chair of the firm's family law practice group. Van Blunk, VonSpreckelsen and Watson will also serve as members on the newly composed management committee.
Van Blunk is a member of the firm's banking, business and corporate law, public finance, and wills trusts and estates practice groups. VonSpreckelsen is a member of the firm's land use and zoning, real estate and municipal law practice areas. Watson is a member of the firm's construction law, litigation and municipal law practice groups.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
