Wisler Pearlstine announced that Christopher E. Ezold and Joseph Clement, who head the firm's cybersecurity and data privacy practice, were interviewed on the growing cybersecurity threat to area businesses and steps they need to take to protect themselves on a new TV show on MLTV-Main Line Network: "Legal Talk with Stacy Clark."
Ezold and Clement discussed why businesses have to be concerned about data privacy, described major breaches that occurred and their implications, and spelled out what businesses must do to make a plan, assess security resources, educate employees and encrypt their data.

McNees Wallace & Nurick attorneys Adam Long and Austin Wolfe are slated to present the Adams County Area Human Resources Association's annual Employment Law Update on March 10 in Gettysburg.
Long and Wolfe will provide local human resource professionals with an overview of employment law developments from the past year and discuss employee medical leave law and wage and hour law.
Long practices in the McNees labor and employment practice group focusing on representing employers in single plaintiff and class-based employment litigation matters before various governmental agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board.
Long represents employers with union-represented workforces in collective bargaining negotiations and grievance arbitrations.
He provides advice and counseling to employers on a range of labor and employment law issues, including wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, family and medical leave, labor relations and noncompetition agreements.
Wolfe practices in the McNees labor and employment practice group, where he works with employers in a range of labor and employment law matters, including employment discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, and workers' compensation matters.
Wolfe represents clients before federal and state courts, as well as a variety of administrative tribunals, including the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The Barristers' Association of Philadelphia provided a lunchtime Continuing Legal Education program, "Taking and Defending Depositions and Investigatory Witness Interviews," hosted by Greenberg Traurig and moderated by Saltz, Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky associate Jordan L. Howell.
More than 20 attorneys gathered to hear Rawle & Henderson partner Nigel A. Greene, Blank Rome partner Mark M. Lee, and the Patterson Law Firm founding partner Danyl Patterson provide tips, tactics and techniques.
Elected and Appointed
Burns White attorney Ashley E. Horton was selected as a 2020 fellow by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
Horton will join a group of young attorneys chosen to participate in a yearlong program created by the LCLD to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
She is the fourth Burns White attorney in as many years chosen as an LCLD program fellow.
The goal of the professional development program is to produce a generation of attorneys with leadership and relationship skills who are committed to fostering diversity within their institutions and the legal profession at large.
Founded in 2009, LCLD is an organization of more than 320 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who aim to create a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.
