Charny, Karpousis, Altieri & Donoian partner Michelle Altieri volunteered in support of the Wills for Heroes program at Rutgers Law School-Camden, New Jersey.
Presented by the Camden County Bar Association probate and trust committee and Rutgers Law Estates and Trust Society, the annual event brought together local police officers, firefighters and other first responders with volunteer attorneys to assist them with estate planning.
Together, the volunteer attorneys provided legal advice and prepared free wills and other estate planning documents.
Altieri concentrates her practice in divorce and family law. Her client representation involves issues including divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, property settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence and adoption.
She has experience with all phases of divorce litigation and settlement negotiations, mediations and arbitrations.
In addition to her work with the New Jersey State Bar Association and its family law section executive committee, she is a member of the Camden County Bar Association.
Altieri is a master in the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law Inns of Court and serves as the programming co-chair as well as a matrimonial early settlement panelist in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties in New Jersey.
She handles pro bono matters, and as a matrimonial early settlement panelist, she volunteers her time reviewing cases and meeting with attorneys to suggest resolutions to their matters.
Altieri's community advocacy includes support of the Alzheimer's Association, Bensalem Democratic Party (Lower East 3 precinct) and Saint Ephrem School.

The Pennsylvania Bar Association honored 23 local bar associations with County Bar Recognition Awards during the 54th Seminar of the Conference of County Bar Leaders.
The awards, which are noncompetitive in nature, annually recognize bar associations throughout Pennsylvania for projects that improve the legal profession, justice system and community.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Susan K. Declercq, is 2:24-cv-13131, The Town Residences LLC v. T-Mobile US, Inc. et al.
