Judge Andrea Marceca Strong of the Court of Common Pleas of York County was appointed as a member of the Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee for a term of five years, commencing April 1.
Strong was elected to her position as judge in 2011.
She previously served as a part-time prosecutor in the York County domestic relations section and in private practice in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Barley Snyder partner William J. Zee was elected president of the board of directors at Lancaster County-based nonprofit Aaron's Acres, just as the organization is embarking upon a construction project.
Zee joined the board of the organization in 2007.
Aaron's Acres recently announced plans to participate in the development of a new cultural center at the Hoffer Farm, currently owned by Pleasant View Communities, a retirement village in the Manheim area.
The two sides recently signed a letter of intent to work on this project starting in 2020.
The cultural center will include the organization's programs and administrative offices.
The group, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018, provides year-round recreational programs for children and young adults with disabilities.
Zee is the chair of the Barley Snyder education practice group.
In addition to his charitable work with Aaron's Acres, he is a member of the board of directors at the Lancaster Education Foundation, Leadership Lancaster and Share of Lancaster Inc.

Pennsylvania labor, employment and workers' compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson announced that partner Lauren M. Hoye will serve a one-year term on the board of directors of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations lawyers coordinating committee.
The AFL-CIO lawyers coordinating committee is a national organization of more than 2,100 union-side lawyers in more than 500 firms and union legal departments around the country.
Hoye focuses her practice on labor and employment law.
A partner with the union labor law and employment law practice groups at Willig, Williams, she appears on behalf of labor unions and individual employees before state courts and federal courts in addition to the National Labor Relations Board and the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board.
Hoye served as a speaker and instructor for the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board and Bureau of Mediation, and the Labor and Employment Relations Association, as well as other organizations.
She holds a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
