K. Alicia Reiff joined Petrelli Previtera.
Reiff practices in all areas of family law, including high-asset divorce and equitable distribution, child custody, child and spousal support, marital agreements and protection from abuse.
Her practice encompasses Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia and Berks counties.
Prior to joining Petrelli Previtera, Reiff ran a private family law practice for three years.
She previously practiced law with a Philadelphia firm dedicated to providing legal services for reasonable fees and also was an associate attorney at a private firm with a focus on family law matters.
Reiff is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
She also provides pro bono legal services through several nonprofit organizations in an effort to support her local community in and around Montgomery County.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
Events
McNees Wallace & Nurick announces its 30th Labor and Employment Seminar to be held from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. June 4 at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
The seminar is set to feature a plenary session recapping the biggest legal developments in labor and employment over the last 30 years while looking to what the future has to offer.
Other sessions will cover developments in the Supreme Court; wage and hour law; privacy, pay equity and ADR; medical marijuana in the workplace; National Labor Relations Board developments; the management of mental health issues in the workplace; data security; and employee benefits and executive compensation.
Announcements
Daniel E. Cummins announced that he left his former firm and created Cummins Law, a civil litigation law firm, which will be located in Clarks Summit outside of Scranton.
Cummins will continue to practice insurance defense law in his new office.
The lawyers at Cummins Law will defend personal injury matters arising out of motor vehicle and trucking accidents, slip or trip and fall matters, products liability matters, as well as in medical malpractice matters.
The attorneys at Cummins Law will also provide a variety of other litigation services to the public.
Cummins is a graduate of the Penn State Dickinson Law.
Following law school, Cummins served as a law clerk to then President Judge Harold A. Thomson Jr. of the Pike County Court of Common Pleas before going into civil litigation practice over the past 20 years in Lackawanna County and serving all of northeastern Pennsylvania.
In addition to his insurance defense practice, Cummins published articles that appeared in various law reviews.
Cummins is also the sole creator and writer of the legal blog, Tort Talk, which offers continuing updates on important cases and trends in Pennsylvania civil litigation law matters.
He plans to continue writing Tort Talk.
Cummins plans to continue to offer his services as a mediator through Cummins Mediation Services.
In addition to assisting litigating parties in bringing their cases to a close through private mediations, Cummins also serves the Federal Middle District Court as a certified mediator.
In addition to Cummins as managing partner, Stephen T. Kopko will serve as an associate attorney.
Kopko is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law.
Also affiliated with the firm is Timothy E. Foley as of counsel.
Foley is a graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

Yalowitz of Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer have entered their appearances for Hanaco Venture Capital and its executives, Lior Prosor and David Frankel, in a pending securities lawsuit. The action, filed on Dec. 24 in New York Southern District Court by Zell, Aron & Co. on behalf of Goldeneye Advisors, accuses the defendants of negligently and fraudulently managing the plaintiff's $1 million investment. Attorneys from A&O Shearman has stepped in as defense counsel for Toronto-Dominion Bank and other defendants in a pending securities class action. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Susan K. Declercq, is 2:24-cv-13131, The Town Residences LLC v. T-Mobile US, Inc. et al.
