Elliott Greenleaf senior shareholder and firm vice president Thomas J. Elliott was elected by the Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board to serve as its vice chair.
Elliott joined the board as a member in 2017 and served on its personnel committee.
He currently chairs its budget committee.
The board is mandated by the Pennsylvania Constitution to investigate, and where appropriate prosecute, misconduct by any of the more than 1,200 judges of Pennsylvania's unified judicial system.
Elliott focuses his practice on employment law, including matters concerning alleged employment discrimination, theft of trade secrets, noncompetition agreements and recovery of funds stolen by cyberattacks.
He served as lead trial counsel for owners of professional baseball teams in state and federal actions involving complex software ownership/licensing, contractual issues, trademark and naming rights issues.
He also represents banking and financial institutions in litigations involving complex lending, derivatives and energy swaps.
Additions
Fisher & Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, announced the addition of Edward G. Winsman as of counsel in the firm's Philadelphia office.
Winsman represents employers in litigation before state and federal courts across the country involving allegations of misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of noncompete agreements, nonsolicit agreements and confidentiality agreements.
He practices in both trial and appellate courts and frequently appears in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority arbitrations representing clients in matters involving employment agreements, litigating restrictive covenants and other issues relating to employee retirement/sunset agreements, retention and transition loans, claims of discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related claims.
Winsman also provides workplace counseling services regarding employer rights and obligations related to employee resignations and terminations.
Winsman earned his Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Winsman joins on the heels of Fisher & Phillips' announcement that the Philadelphia office will be moving from Radnor into Center City Philadelphia this spring, with new offices being built at Two Logan Square.

Flaster Greenberg announced that Christopher Chiacchio, former mayor of Moorestown, New Jersey, joined the firm as a member of the firm's corporate and real estate and land use departments.
Chiacchio, who will work in Flaster Greenberg's Cherry Hill, New Jersey, office, will focus his practice on real estate, banking and corporate law.
Prior to joining the firm, Chiacchio served as the managing partner of Subranni Zauber in Marlton, New Jersey.
Chiacchio's two decades of experience includes representing clients with corporate law matters including general counsel and the sales and acquisitions of businesses, sales and acquisitions of real estate, land use and development projects, and real estate litigation.
He also represents lenders with commercial transactions.
Prior to serving as mayor, he served as a member of the Moorestown Township planning board, as well as the planning and zoning boards of Cinnaminson Township, New Jersey.
Most recently, he served as chairman of Moorestown's economic development advisory committee.
Chiacchio received his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School.
Upon graduating from law school, he served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Robert W. Page of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
