The attorneys of Rothman Gordon are pleased to announce that Robert J. Waine joined the firm.
Waine represents businesses in matters including commercial transactions, corporate formation, real estate, employment issues and litigation.
In addition to his corporate practice, Waine has experience in the oil and gas industry related to ownership and leasing of natural gas interests in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio, including the preparation of title opinions.
Waine earned his Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

McNees Wallace & Nurick announced the addition of attorney and compliance professional Frank T. Donaghue to the firm's corporate and tax and gaming practice groups.
As the former vice president of regulatory affairs and chief compliance officer for Penn National Gaming Inc., Donaghue has experience in gaming, regulatory affairs, BSA/AML compliance, consumer protection, workplace and government investigations, ethics hotline management, FCPA compliance and vendor due diligence.
In his leadership position at Penn National Gaming, Donaghue oversaw all aspects of compliance and served as the company's primary liaison with regulators in the 19 jurisdictions where Penn National operates.
In addition, he supervised compliance for Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada, providing him with international gaming regulatory experience.
Frank held positions at the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and the Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
At the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, he was the first chief counsel to the board, then acting executive director and finally interim deputy executive director.
For the Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, he held leadership positions culminating with chief deputy attorney general and director, Bureau of Consumer Protection. Donaghue began his career as a judicial law clerk with Justice Ronald D. Castille of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Donaghue is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law and the International Association of Gaming Advisors.
Elected and Appointed
Lamb McErlane attorney Steve E. Jarmon was elected to the board of governors for the Phoenixville Area Economic Development Corp.
PAEDCO was formed in 1983 by local business leaders to revive Phoenixville's economy.
At Lamb McErlane Jarmon is a partner with a focus on criminal and civil matters.
Jarmon serves as a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyer's Probation and Parole Reform Task Force.
Most recently Jarmon was named solicitor to the newly elected Chester County prothonotary, Debbie Bookman.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls.
